The Mayor found that no system existed to notify the City Turncocks of the Fire Brigade's need of water during the night time and that as soon as the turncocks had accidentally heard of the fire they had turned on the water supply. Appended: minutes of evidence taken from Joseph Dickman, City Turncock, Henry White, turncock, William Davidson, turncock, James Huckey (signed by each witness). Witnesses refer to Wm?
