Appended: Memo from AC Mountain recommending the employment of Tickle and explaining that already employed officers including Mr Richards were insufficiently experienced for the position; Letter of application from Tickle of Petersham with Messrs Ethelo & Courtney of Petersham as references and enclosing copies of testimonials from England of GB Nichols, Roberts & Robinson of Liverpool, England, RS Hudson of Bachs Hall, Chester, A Palmer of Birmingham, JH Shipman of London, and referring to further testimonials from Doulton & Co London, Kings Norton Rural Sanitary Authority and Saml Keys, Town Councillor of West Bromwich; Memo of AC Mountain recommending the promotion of Ernest Burman.
