Applications for supply of water increasing. As resignation of Mr Boun [Bown?] as principal fireman and Superintendent of Water Works has been accepted by council, Committee recommends promotion of Mr Harris. Plumber's license granted to Boun [Bown?]. Recommended removal of fire engines from premises of Mr Beaver to the Police courtyard, training of 12 of the labourers in operation of the engine, supply of coats and badge and additional pay when employed in case of fires.
