The majority of the agreements are with artists/ensembles or their agents, from either the visual, dance, theatrical or musical art forms. The series also contains agreements with directors, producers or organisations that co-produce events with the Festival. There are also agreements for venue or production hire, broadcasting or musical rights and agreements with support companies or staff that assist in the running of the Festival.

The agreements are kept in yearly folders, in alphabetical order by either artist surname, artist's agent/company name, contractor's surname, or production title. Attachments to contracts may include agent details, performance schedules, fee and tax advice and proof of fee transfer and purchase orders.
