Unique IDA-00036387SeriesDemolition BooksDateBetween 1st January 1908 and 31st December 1908Date qualifiercircaFormatPhotograph - PrintDescriptionComplete block of two-storey, rendered sandstone terraces, all with verandahs having corrugated iron roofs supported by wooden poles and wrought iron balconies. A group of twelve children (one with an enamelled jug on his head) pose on the corner which is signed Carlton Street, and further along a man and woman stand in a doorway. An ornate cast iron gas lamp is seen left. Unsurfaced roadway is flagged with sandstone. Irving Street was closed and subsumed within the brewery precinct in 1982.
