The series include reports of the Technical Sub-Committee, referred to in the series as STC Reports. The minutes are divided into topics such as business arising from the meeting, reports of the Sub-Committee of the Sydney Traffic Committee, traffic proposals, including background or problems, proposal and decision reached, correspondence, date of next meetings, and supporting papers such as location plan, work requisitions, correspondence and other documents collected from other Council files that are relevant to the items discussed in the meeting.

Starting with the third meeting of the STC, the minutes include an action summary on items considered by the STC. This page provides a brief description of traffic problems and decisions made by the Committee. It also includes information on when a Council minute was prepared, dates of Council Resolution, communications from applicants or local member, work requisition and installation, further action, if needed, and remarks.

The series also include reports of the Sub-Committee, the technical arm of the Sydney Traffic Committee; Council copies of reports for traffic generating developments, temporary and permanent closures.

Agendas and minutes of the City Traffic Watch and the minutes of the Technical Support Group of the City Traffic Watch are also found in this series.
