The boundaries were: the western rail line from Eveleigh Workshops to Erskineville Rd (N), Erskineville Rd then turning south down Union St to King St, then along King St to Mitchell Rd (W), Mitchell Rd to Huntley St (S), and a line runnign NNE to the junction of Park St and Henderson Rd. the Higginbotham & Robinson map of the municipality provides more information about the boundaries. Macdonaldtown was divided into North, Middle and South Wards.
