Obituary: Death of Mr. Varley. Mr. William Varley, aged 73, for the past nine years a resident of Ashton Villa, John-street, Rookwood, succumbed on Wednesday to an attack of pneumonia, from which he had suffered for five or six days. Mr. Varley was for many years an important employee of the City Council, Sydney. He leaves a widow and grown-up family of three married daughters and four sons (three of whom are also married).
